Well, a commission/trade of sorts, owed this to Fixer since he first created a miniature of Leiri for me. I'm finally getting to my list of art I owe to people, and managed to finish this project I've been working on and off on for three months >_> Yes, I'm slow, but that's because of school and writing assignments! This took a while because of that reflective quality I was trying to get with his skin, but I don't know how well it came out. Oh well, I'm pleased with those mountains and the block he's standing on, they came out quite well >.>
'tis Fixer's silver half-dragon monk of epic levels, Joren. Fear his uber muscle!
Hurray! He's finished! I think the reflections were pulled off fine ;3 He's so shiney. I really like the background to ;d Congrats on finally finishing it xD
As anyone told you lately that this is piece wickedly good? If so, I'm here to remind it to you.
The first thing I love about what you did to Joren is, of course, ‘the muscle’. o_o I will definitely fear them. And him clutching his hand sure speaks for himself. (Along with his eyes) I like how you drew his legs, and I mean as in both anatomy and pose. I think it shows a lot more of his personality. ^^ Very tense and steady, like he was telling you to 'bring it on'.
I can see why you like the background. It's really pretty and well placed. The block I dig, the cracks and shading is like... Perfect. And the same goes for the clouds, mountains, and the layout itself. LUV.
Yes, all in all, love it! Keep on working on those trades/commissions!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
