Fortune - Wildsiderz Inspired

Been working on this piece off-and-on for the past couple weeks and finally got down to finishing it! I was stuck at the shading part for a while, but just recently acquired Photoshop CS4 (I'd been working with Photoshop 7 previously, so you can imagine it was a sizable upgrade!!). Along with CS4, I got lots of new toys to play with like new brushes and being able to use *different brush shapes* for the smudge tool! Needless to say, it's been fun experimenting and learning the new tricks of CS4.

This piece itself is pretty simple overall. I was inspired by *J-Scott-Campbell's comic "Wildsiderz" and wanted to do a piece with similar holographic effects. I was also wanting to do a piece for my friend, so I decided to use ~Pointy-Eared-Fiend's shape-shifting dragon Fortune as the subject. Lots of learning and experimenting.
