Echo sighed, mulling over the events that had led to her current situation, and nursing a healthy amount of self-pity. Frank sat silent behind her, jacket-less as he'd lent it to his less-clothed alpha for the time. The rain fell steadily. It always rained when a Shadow Lord punished anyone. Echo shivered, pulling her legs closer to herself, shaking some water from her hair. Stupid Frank, why did he have to kill that innocent cop? They'd been on the roof an entire 24 hours already, and had another day of no sleep and continued rain to look forward to. And there was far, far worse to come after...

If my watchers are wondering why it's been so long since I submitted anything, it's because of midterms and papers, but by no means have I been completely unproductive in the art area! I have ton of sketches finished, and was killing myself to get this piece completed! This is just the beginning of the flood
Echo is my Werewolf: The Apocalypse character, the acting alpha of a rag-tag band of misfits who are stumbling their way through the world of the Garou and the war with the Wyrm. The late Frank happened to behead a cop who saw him in werewolf form with a thrown manhole cover, quite a spectacular feat, but earned him severe punishment from the werewolf elders. Echo, as his superior, had to share his punishment for not keeping him in check. So, exposed to the elements and then sent to purgatory to burn in streams of molten silver until their souls were purified.
I love the story behind this........*hahah, I have a character in my book named the Sahodw Lord lol! ^^*
You captured the rain so well, the pic looks so sad and solemn............Excellent work!
The lighting on those pools of water... the rain, it's a awesome piece of artwork.

Werewolf art, and so beautiful as well.
Why... your elders seem to be extremely strict. o.o Of course killing humans is not pretty, but I guess being sent to Erebus for just this (in Werewolf terms, of course!) is harsh. o.o
*nodnod!* Very strict! And our pack is generally shunned now... Not to mention the frequent character deaths or severe injurings. Our DM is rather a mean one... just don't tell him I said that!
Hurrah it's finished! Wow, the gloom and rain is so real and overwhelming in this picture. It certainly conveys a sense of despair. Hurrah! I can msot definitely tell they're on a rooftop now. ^^

EWWWW! I was looking and thinking how sad they seemed, and somehow, he didn't look wet and bedraggled enough to my mind for some reason...
But then your last paragraph broadsided me. Down to the very last part, that hurts, but souls purified with streams of molten silver?! Ai yi yi! Gives all new meaning to "brand new kinds of pain".
Stellar picture Evi.
