At last! The reason I'm behind on all my commissions, why I've been so slow in updating this past year... I'm finally uploading the art from my Senior Art Show! I don't know why I've been so hesitant to put them up... I guess because partly I'm a stickler for keeping things in order, or maybe because these pieces are really important to me, and after the show, they have a really special place in my memory... or maybe I'm just lazy. I dunno~ >_>

Each Studio Art Major at my college has to put on a professional art show their senior year, which goes up in one of the galleries on campus for two weeks. I did my show as a focus on Crossworld, because it's been so important to me for the second half of my college career, and represents a work of love with some of my best friends, and , my Crossworld Co-Creators.

This was one of the major color pieces for the show, this one focussing on my character Gaius. It was one of three primary images, each one portraying one of the three boys, the main characters of our Crossworld story. This was also one of the first pieces for the show I did, completed somewhere back in November or December last year... Work for my show spanned from Christmas break all through the end of March, with the majority of the work being in February and early March.

Ah Gaius~ I love him so. I was inspired by the winter skies at the time, with the rain leaving behind deep blue skies and white puffy clouds. I adore the sky when it's like that, makes me dangerous on the road because I keep looking up instead of ahead. XD So I placed Gaius atop the dome roof of the library tower, the highest point in the city he lives in, enjoying the freedom of the skies~
